Implied Consent / Opt-out

By default the CookieHub Widget doesn’t load any services or tags managed by CookieHub until the end users have consented to the assigned cookie categories.

In some cases, personalized data isn't collected using the services or tags and want to start tracking anonymous data instantly until the user has configured the cookie consent. Enabling the Implied Consent / Opt-out globally for the domain on for certain categories does exactly this.

When Implied Consent / Opt-out is enabled and a user denies certain cookie category, the cookies assigned to that category are automatically removed from the browser.

We don’t recommend enabling Implied Consent / Opt-out for categories that collect analytics or profiles user behavior as that is not GDPR compliant. Instead consider using the block UI feature available in the UI builder, to block the user interface until the user has made his choices to force the user to make choices and make sure you don’t lose analytics attribution.
