Can I have the scanner not crawl from the home page but instead from a different url on my website?

Yes, you can. Go to the Scans tab and under Crawler Settings and there in the Entry URL textbox you can set the relative path used the CookieHub scanners to determine where to start the crawl. For clarification this does not block the scanner from crawling the home page of your website if it will find a link to the home page when starting the crawl from the relative URL.
