Domain Settings

The Settings tab in CookieHub allows you to manage important configuration options for your selected domain. It is divided into the following sections:


1. General

This section controls the main features for your domain:

  • Consent Log – Enables anonymous logging of user choices, browser details, and a unique token to provide proof of consent when required.
  • Automatic Updates – Keeps your CookieHub widget updated to the latest version automatically.
  • Automatic Cookie Blocking – Blocks cookies from common services until the user consents.
  • Europe Only Storage – Stores consent log data only in European-owned and operated data centers.
  • Google Consent Mode (GCM) – Automatically updates GCM with the user’s consent status.
  • Automatic Cookie Removal – Removes cookies for categories that have not been allowed by the user.

2. Consent Storage

Here you can customize how CookieHub stores user consent:

  • Consent Cookie Name – The default is cookiehub , but you can rename it.
  • Consent Lifetime – Set the number of days the consent cookie remains valid (default: 365 days). After this period, users will be prompted to reconsent.

3. Regional Settings

Configure region-specific consent rules, legal frameworks, and appearance options for different locations.


4. Languages

Manage language options for your CookieHub widget, including the default language and any additional languages you wish to support.


5. Categories

Define and configure cookie categories for your domain, such as Preferences, Analytics, Marketing, and Other.


Tip: The Settings tab is central to ensuring your cookie banner behavior, compliance, and customization meet your specific needs. Changes here affect how CookieHub operates across your entire domain.
