How to customize the cookie banner

You can access the Cookie banner tab by opening your domain in the CookieHub dashboard and clicking Customize in the top-right corner, or from Regional settings next to a specific region.

In the customization window, select the Cookie banner tab.

You can configure:

• Theme – Choose from four available designs.
• Position – Select where on the screen the banner appears.
• Close icon behavior – Decide what happens when the close icon is clicked (dismiss, deny all, allow all).
• Colors – Set the accent color and adjust text contrast.
• UI blocking – Prevent interaction with the site until a choice is made.
• Dark mode – Switch to a dark color scheme.
• Compact layout – Reduce spacing for a tighter design.
• Accessibility level – Ensure WCAG compliance.
• Learn more link – Set a URL for more information (supports per-language links).
• Action buttons – Control which buttons are shown and their order.

Additional option when IAB TCF is enabled

If your region’s Policy framework is set to IAB TCF, an extra Vendor list setting appears in the Cookie banner tab:

• Vendor list – Select the vendor list to use for regions with IAB TCF enabled. Options may include the IAB GVL (Global Vendor List) and Google ATP (Additional Technology Providers) list.

This vendor list determines which third-party vendors are presented to users for consent, ensuring compliance with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework requirements.
