Consent mode status
If your Installation status is correct, CookieHub will also display the Consent mode status for the entire domain. This shows whether Google Consent Mode is configured correctly and working across all scanned pages.
When everything is OK
If no problems are found, you will see:
Consent mode issues
No Consent Mode issues were detected in the latest domain scan.
When issues are found
If problems are detected, they are listed in a table along with the affected URLs. Issues are grouped into one of three categories:
Missing
Some pages are missing Consent Mode configuration.
- Ensure all pages include the CookieHub script or GTM implementation.
- Verify that Consent Mode variables are being sent.
Defaults
Consent Mode variables are set to granted by default when they should be denied.
- Update your Consent Mode v2 configuration so default states are denied until the user consents.
Outdated
The version of Consent Mode in use is outdated.
- Update the CookieHub script or GTM template to a version that supports Consent Mode v2.
- See Consent mode v2 installation guide for update steps.
How to check consent mode status
Go to your domain’s Implementation tab.
If Installation status is OK, scroll to the Consent mode status section.
Review the results:
- If all clear — no action needed.
- If issues are listed — follow the recommendations for each issue type.
- After fixing, click Rescan domain to verify the changes.
