What are vendors

Vendors are the companies or services that collect or process data through your website. In CookieHub, vendors can include analytics tools, advertising networks, content delivery services, or any other third-party scripts and cookies that require consent under data privacy regulations such as GDPR, ePrivacy, and IAB TCF.

Managing vendors correctly ensures that services are only loaded after users have given the required consent.

How to view vendors

To view your list of vendors in CookieHub:

  1. From the top menu, click Vendors & Services.
  2. Select Vendors.

This page shows all vendors available for your account, including custom vendors, CookieHub managed vendors, and IAB or Google Ad technology providers.

Vendor types

CookieHub supports different types of vendors depending on your compliance needs:

Custom vendors

Vendors that are specific to your website or application. You can add these manually, assign them to categories such as Necessary, Preferences, Analytics, or Marketing, and control when they are loaded.

CookieHub managed vendors

A predefined list of common vendors maintained by CookieHub. You can enable or disable these vendors as needed without having to manually configure them.

IAB GVL 2

Vendors from the IAB Global Vendor List version 2.1, used with the IAB TCF 2.1 framework. These vendors are managed by the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

IAB GVL 3

Vendors from the IAB Global Vendor List version 3, used with the IAB TCF 2.2 framework. These are also managed by the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Google Ad technology providers

Vendors from Google’s list of ad technology providers. Managing these in CookieHub ensures compliance with Google’s CMP requirements.
