Overview of integrations

CookieHub integrates with major advertising and analytics platforms to ensure compliance and proper signaling of user consent. These integrations work alongside the selected consent framework to provide accurate consent data to third-party services.

Why integrations matter

Many vendors, such as Google, Microsoft, and Meta, require specific consent signals to comply with their policies and regional privacy laws. Integrations help:

  • Communicate consent status in a vendor-specific format
  • Ensure ads, analytics, and tracking run only when permitted
  • Avoid compliance issues and maintain data accuracy

Supported integrations

CookieHub supports the following integrations:

  • Google Consent Mode v2

Adjusts Google services like Ads and Analytics based on consent choices.

  • Google Additional Consent Mode v2

Extends consent signaling to Google Ad Tech Providers (ATPs) not listed in the IAB GVL. Works with TCF 2.2.

  • Microsoft UET Consent Mode

Controls Microsoft Ads tracking according to user consent and supports TCF integration.

  • Microsoft Clarity Consent API v2

Ensures Clarity tracking and session cookies are only enabled when users grant consent.

  • Meta Pixel Consent Mode

Controls Meta Pixel tracking. CookieHub automatically revokes consent by default and grants it when users accept the Marketing category.

  • IAB US Privacy (legacy)

Maintains backward compatibility by generating the old USP string when GPP is active.

How integrations work with frameworks

  • IAB TCF 2.2

Enables both Google Consent Mode and Additional Consent Mode automatically.

  • IAB GPP

Triggers US privacy signaling, including the legacy USP string for older systems.

  • CookieHub Choices

Sends consent status to supported integrations (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Clarity) if enabled, and allows GTM integration for other tags.

When to use integrations

Use these integrations if:

  • You run Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Floodlight tags
  • You use Microsoft Ads or Microsoft Clarity
  • You use Meta Pixel for tracking and remarketing
  • Your advertising vendors require TCF or GPP compliance
  • You need backward compatibility with older systems
