Server locations

CookieHub operates a secure and redundant cloud infrastructure designed to ensure high availability, resilience, and data protection.

All personal data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest where applicable. CookieHub does not sell customer data.

Data residency

Primary application data and consent log data are stored within the European Economic Area (EEA), including data centers located in Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

Cloud infrastructure

CookieHub uses multiple cloud infrastructure providers to support its platform:

Primary infrastructure components include:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) for application hosting, compute, and storage
  • Scaleway SAS for cloud hosting and storage within the EU
  • BunnyWay d.o.o. for content delivery services
  • Cloudflare, Inc. for content delivery, network security, and DDoS protection

These providers operate geographically distributed infrastructure to ensure availability and low latency.

Content delivery network (CDN)

The CookieHub consent management widget is delivered through a globally distributed CDN to ensure reliable performance for website visitors worldwide.

While application data and consent logs are stored within the EEA, CDN services may process request metadata through globally distributed edge locations to optimize performance and resilience.

International transfers

Some service providers operate outside the EEA. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, are implemented.
