Server locations
CookieHub relies on a secure and redundant infrastructure to store and process data safely. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never share or sell data to third parties. By default, CookieHub stores data within the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) to comply with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
Primary cloud provider: Amazon AWS
CookieHub uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its primary hosting provider for key platform components:
- CookieHub Dashboard: The management interface (
dash.cookiehub.com) is hosted on AWS for reliable performance. - Content Delivery Network (CDN): AWS powers CookieHub’s main CDN, which delivers the consent management widget globally. The CDN uses distributed AWS data centers to ensure low latency and high availability.
Europe-only storage option
For businesses that require all data to remain within the EU, CookieHub offers a Europe-only storage option. This ensures that:
- All consent logs and related data stay within European data centers.
- Data is handled exclusively by EU-based providers.
You can enable this option directly from the CookieHub dashboard under Settings.
EU-based service providers
- Scaleway SAS: Stores consent logs and related data in the Netherlands and France.
- BunnyWay d.o.o.: Provides an EU-based CDN to meet data residency requirements.
Global CDN distribution
While EU-only storage is available, the primary CDN remains globally distributed to ensure optimal performance for users worldwide. This setup reduces load times without compromising security or compliance.
